Love your writing Robin! I feel like you are speaking to me and I was just about to mention the Merlin app when you mentioned it in your blog. Great work!

Thank you for all you do for this forest and others, Robin— including writing so beautifully about nature and the need to preserve it. We all are so proud to call you our Sister! And we eagerly await the next installment of Mother E.

Beautifully written and thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for your eloquent and graciously elegant description of that gorgeous forest and it’s inhabitants. There is nothing like enjoying the peace and beauty therein.

Within that forest, that very special and unique piece of earth, is all we need to feel energized and whole. You wrote so beautifully about your surroundings and experiences that I feel as if I, too, am reaping all the benefits of the natural world through your eyes and your words. Thank you, Robin.

In my ninetieth year though officially still 89, I wonder if my still active body comes from all the years spent in the world of nature. Mountains, deserts, oceans and rivers, flatlands. My camera always focussed on the beauty.

I’m sure your active decades in nature contributed to your longevity. Congrats on almost 90 years Marion!

I’ll add some more photos to the next journal episode, although Substack platform is less about images and more about words. 😏
