Who is Mother E for?
It’s for curious minds who want to see the bigger picture of human relationships with nature. How are we enriched, what can we learn from other species, and how do we protect what’s left?
I’ll tell some personal stories and introduce you to people caring for the planet. I’ll also explore the deeper meanings in these connections we love with Mother Earth.
I’ve done environmental stewardship work on a land trust board, protected forests, and written articles for nonprofits. But it’s my role as a mom and grandma that inspires me to look for solutions to keep us all going on this blue and green planet.
My perspective is shaped by living on the wild Northern California coast, where the redwoods meet the sea.
I read widely, admire the creative efficiency of nature, and seek to find the meaning that connects it all. I write about science, but come from a humanities background.
